Walter Poupore leads a team of writers and editors that provide API content for Microsoft's advertising platform. After working on a variety of Microsoft APIs, Walter started working on adCenter API content in May 2006. He holds a Masters of Information Systems degree from Seattle Pacific University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from the University of Michigan-Flint.

Country, State//Province, Metro Area, and City Targeting in V6
Hi All,

In Microsoft adCenter API Version 6, many targeting options are available for your campaigns and ad groups. For details, see Targeting Campaigns and Ad Groups.

One type of targeting is location targeting by country/region, state/province, metroa area, or city.

The codes for targeting your campaigins and ad groups to specific countries/regions are documented at Country Codes.

Additionally, campaigns and ad groups can target states/provinces, metro areas, and cities for the following countries. Click the link to determine the state/province, metro area, and city codes.
