Head Of Research & Insights - Microsoft Advertising EMEA
Anita Caras is responsible for the providing leading-edge research tools, assets and insights to support the Microsoft Advertising sales business. In this role, Anita is focused on driving understanding of digital media and the marketing opportunities it provides, communicating this both internally and externally to agencies and advertisers.
Anita is an active member if the European Interactive Advertising Association’s (EIAA) Research Working Group – assisting in developing, commissioning and delivering key Pan European research projects around media consumption (Mediascope Europe) and advertising efficiency (Marketers Internet Ad Barometer) on the EIAA’s behalf to further promote the interactive advertising opportunities across Europe. She is also on the Steering committee of Project MIA (The Measurement Of Interactive Audiences) whose remit is to improve the accountability of the internet as an advertising medium across the Globe.
Anita’s 15 years of media research experience have been drawn from roles both media owner and agency side. Previous employers include ITV, Viacom Brand Solutions/MTV and ZenithOptimedia both in Australia and in the UK. Prior to this, Anita taught media production and journalistic skills to college children in Long Island, USA.
