After only having a minimal Adcenter account for that last four years I was delighted to find the desktop app last night. I immediately downloaded and went about updating and expanding all our campaigns today as its so much easier now. I've just finished the first part of this and wanted to do an upload but whenever I click on 'Upload Changes' it recognises the changes but doesn't upload them.

I get the status message of 'Partial Success' along with the further details:

Entity Type          Synced items          Errors

Customers           0                           0

Accounts              0                            0

Campaigns           0                           0

Ad groups             0                           727

Text ads              0                            715

Keywords              0                           2069

Favorites              0                            0

I've tried a couple of times and the same thing keeps happening. How can I get around this as it feels like I've just wasted a day right now? If its the number of changes made, is there upload things campaign by campaign perhaps?

Aha, didn't spot that these had changed! When I was rolling over the "!" before upload there was just a yellow box that was too small to ready anything but now they are much bigger and show this error:

"Customer account is not enabled to create adgroups in this medium"

I had a chat with a very helpful chap at UK support and he nailed it in one... being so out of touch with these campaigns I didn't realise that 'Content network' was US only and so had ticked it throughout and this is what stopped the upload.

Easy enough to fix but could be worth adding a tool tip stating this is a US only feature at the moment for those people that don't work on their campaigns all the time... like me ;)

    Hello nka,

I am delighted to hear that you found adCenter Desktop Tool.

I can see that you had errors when you have tired to upload. However, What happens with you run your mouse of the the little yellow sign with the "!" mark in it? That should indicate what kind of error has occured.

Another thing you could possible do is, Contact Support; export the data out of the Desktop Tool and Support will try and upload the changes for you. We will try and replicate the issue.

I'm having the EXACT same problem: I cannot upload bid changes to my keywords.

When I roll over the keywords with the yellow exclamation point, it says:

    "An internal error has occured"

My God, I'm going crazy over this software.

Last week I had to reformat my hard drive and reinstall Windows just to be able to log in!!!

After contacting the support 3 times, they couldn't help me, so I helped myself.

    Now, another problem!

    Please, Microsoft, please, fix this!

    Hello jerrysteel,

I can completely understand your frustration with not being able to make changes to your bids?

Are you using the bulk edit function? and then trying to upload?
Are you using a spreadsheet and uploading through the tool?

I will be glad to assist you. I would need more information to give you an accurate answer.

    or

You may contact support with an export of the changes you made. We will be glad to try and replicate the issue for you.

    Thank you,
    Microsoft Advertising Support

    Hi,

    Thanks for your understanding.

I tried at least 20 times yesterday, with no success.

I tried one more time today and bam, it worked!

Don't know what's going on, but it seems to be a problem over at their server...

    Thanks.
