Hi

I am working as SEM Analyst, firstly I would like to thank for the Microsoft adCenter Desktop tool, and I found this tool more useful when working with large accounts. I had contacted your Microsoft adCenter Support Representative many times and they had provided assistance, by this I had successfully resolved many of the cases.

Most of the time I work with large clients where as these clients having more number of campaigns/adgroup/ads and keywords. During the time of offers we have to delete/change too many ads at a single time. Title and Descriptions won’t be remains the same for all the adgroups.

In regards to the above I would like to suggest one thing. If you can modify “Ad Id” column as user input information column then this will be very use full.

When we export ads through adCenter Desktop tool we get both “Ad ID” and “ID” columns, what is the use of “Ad ID” here?. When we import ads “ID” column information’s are considered as  “Ad ID” info.

For eg. If we import ads Monday and again we have to delete all those ads on Wednesday, again different ads I have to add on the same day. While importing ads on the Monday “Ad ID” as “adgroupname_date_number”, number as a unique for all ads. At the time of deletion or modification it will be very useful just by referring “Ad ID” I can make changes. By referring existing “ID” column it is not easy for us to track it ‘coz it won’t contains date information when this add is imported.

Thanks,

~gnana

Hello Gnana,

Thank you for you or feedback on the adCenter Desktop Tool, we are glad that you are having great sucess with it.

As for your question about " AD ID". Ad IDs are unique set of number associated to each AD that you create. So when you are deleting and creating new ADs, new ads will have new AD IDs so then adCenter can associate the ADs you created to the correct Ad Group.

AD Ids are also used in Converstion Tracking. Some Customer would like to track conversations on certain ads.

I hope this answers your question.

    Hi,

I got the ans. for "Ad ID".

If you can modify “Ad Id” column or add an additional column as user input information column then this will be very use full.

For eg. If we import ads Monday and again we have to delete all those ads on Wednesday, again different ads I have to add on the same day. While importing ads on the Monday “new column” information as “adgroupname_date_number”, number as a unique for all ads. At the time of deletion or modification it will be very useful just by referring “new column” we can make changes easily. By referring existing “ID” column it is not easy for us to track it ‘coz it won’t contains date information when this add is imported.

This is an update to imporove the existing adcenter desktop tool.

    Thanks,
