Hello All,

I've used the Beta version before but have since gotten a new computer and looking to install the "Microsoft Advertising Intelligence." It is giving me a ""Microsoft Excel 2007 is not available on this computer.  Obtain and install Microsoft Excel 2007" - see the log file below. This makes no sense as I'm running Microsoft Excel 2007 with Windows 7 (Build 7100).

Anyone has any tips?

    Hello Daniel,

    I am the PM of the Advertising Intelligence. According to the log you have posted I suspect that the Excel installation didn't create the register entries completely which caused our pre-requisite checking failed. Can you please export the following Windows registry node and send it to us, or that we can start the investigation?

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

    Steps to export the node

    1. Click 'Start' --> 'Run'

    2. Enter 'Regedit'

    3. Navigate to the location above

    4. Right click on the Uninstall folder and select 'Export'

    5. In the dialogbox poped up, type in a filename and click 'Save'

    Please send the file to: mailto://richardz@microsoft.com

    We will get back to you as soon as we got any progress.

    Best Regards,

    Richard
