I need to say a great big thankyou to Paul Crawford at MS Support UK and his suggestion that worked. Apparently ADintelligence has an issue with Windows Live accounts. Simply do the following

In order to do this you will
need to login to your adCenter account and complete the following steps –
· Click into Accounts
& Billing
· Click into Users
· Click Create a new
user
· Complete the new user
details ensuring that the account role is also Super Admin
· Click Save
You get an email that you need to activate and log in as the new user you created but hey, it works!
