I try to set my ad to run in my local metro area. I want it to run in Bloomington Illinois area. I choose it from the drop down menu, and it's bloomington Indiana, instead of bloomington Illinois.

so I thought, maybe MS has it backwards, so I go to indiana, and choose Bloomington...still same, they are both Bloomington Indiana.

is there a way this can be fixed?

    Hello derekio,

I have verified of what you are seeing. In both selected states there are Bloomington metro areas. When you select it for specific states it will only show under that area that you have select. With Microsoft adCenter sometimes you may have metro areas over layering one another. This however will not be the case.

My Suggestion to you would be to go under the metro area of Illinois and select Bloomington under that area.

Please also contact support so we can forward this to our development team as well for further investigation.

I sent the info to support. But will not add the bloomington under illinois as you suggest. As i dont want to pay for any clicks from another state who i don't service.

    Hello derekio,

When if you have called in the customer support representative should have given you a "case id/SRX ID". If you have emailed in the SRX ID would be located in the subject line.

If you have no received this or any response from Support.

Simply Click on my name and "AdCenter.Rep2" and you will be able to Privately Message me with details.

    Thank you,

Just for the record, clicking on your name, or your avatar does NOT give me the option to PM you. It gives me the option to email you, view your profile, or "start a conversation".

the latter is what I chose, I typed what I wanted to tell you, I hit submit, and received a 500 error. All that typing down the drain. Thus far, I'm not overly impressed with MS advertising, and am about to say bye bye.

One would think that a company that designs operating systems, could get a simple form to validate. And also get locations correct,on a map of the country, in which it calls home.
