Hi everyone and thank you for looking at theis post.

I'm completely new to MSN / Bing and have register for an account to use ppc but it appears to be set as standard search only.

However, I want to use the content network and placements BUT I keep getting conflicting information in that because I am in Europe, content and placement is only available for USA promoters.

Please can someone clarify this for me and I hope I have made myself clear enough  :)

Many thanks

AineM

Hello AineNiC,

Welcome to Microsoft Advertising. You are correct Content Network is only available "US ONLY".

With Microsoft adCenter, you have two ways to display your ads to potential customers who use the Internet: Search Ads (Ads that are displayed on a Bing results page in response to a user’s search query.) and Content Ads (Ads that are displayed on Microsoft-owned websites, such as MSN Tech & Gadgets, Money, Real Estate, and Windows Marketplace, as well as participating partner websites.) . When you run your ads on the content network, your ads are displayed on webpages with relevant content. As a result, you extend your advertising reach to a broader segment of your target audience.

By default, ad groups are configured to display ads on both the search and content networks.

  1. Click the Campaigns tab.
  2. On the Account selected page, click the campaign that contains the ad group you want to edit.
  3. On the Campaign selected page, click the ad group that you want to run on the content network.
  4. Next to Ad group name, click Change settings.
  5. Under Select your bid type and ad distribution, select the Content network check box.
  6. Click Save.
