Hello,

I'm hoping someone might be able to help with a problem I'm having. I have a small business here in Bethlehem, PA. This summer I realized that with Bing Launching there Campaign.  It would be a great opportunity to get on the "Bing Local Business Center". I submitted my *Local Business Listing, My Bing verification pin code:. Arrived via US  Mail.

Then after opening I activated it by clicking on the verify PIN button next to my listing with my Bing verifying Pin Code:. For my listing "Just-In-Time-Innovations.unlimited"  Then I believe there was a Pop up saying Congratulations your Bing Local Listing is now verified and listed. It may take a couple of days to update my listing into the system . Keep checking and it should be listed soon, please be patient.                                                                 This was around the first of September, since then I've been back and forth creating a ad, through the Ad-Center staff. That's when I really began getting confused because I could not see , agreeing to a charge by click, when my information is not even searchable? Which when I had explained was completely understood, by the very nice person I spoke too.

Please excuse my(detailed long) story I thought it might save time, by knowing the story So bottom line my question is at this point "How Might I Get My Verified Listing Searchable?Thank You For This Opportunity, Respectfully, PeterJames Frank

Thank You Chris, and Please pass my sincere thanks for whomever might of helped, with what . Was for myself somewhat frustrating that I'd keep making the same mistake over 'N over again. Even though we are a seasonal business,  . However I'm moving (and will up date ) "my now workable sight you don't know how happy I am"), my business more in the direction of renewable energies. Mainly Solar, Where I live in PA. Our electric is going up 40% in "I believe most of the State" because they claim they haven't given their employees any perks to their health and cost of living increases in years so there going to charge us

just a little increase of 40%.(WOW)

I'm sure you've felt it in one why or another that we've got to get our acts together. In the Big area of the Mother Earth, it's not business as usual, as I know you know. So as I was saying we're moving in that direction, I'm going to school as we speak at two different places (on the Internet) to earn certification in knowing what I'm talking about, when it comes to home owners and cost and efficiently etc.. And my Business being searchable , creating the buss of conversation, and blogs .. etc. So when next winter comes around hopefully, LORD willing. I'll be doing my part as a contractor who you'd what to hire. As your doing your part getting our messages out, this country must become more team like.

Thank You again , I was starting to think it might not be possible. Just another lesson learned. And you've help teach me , Respectfully, PeterJames Frank

Chris,

Sorry to get to you with a question,(and or your staff) So late in the day . Anyway 'again my sincere thanks for what you did to get my (Auto-Detailing Business, Listing) up an search and findable!

My only additional ques. to this subject is what exactly is the URL or link description? I can use as a link in my; "Talking to perspectives; linked to in a blog etc. At this particular timing, I will not be starting my campaign with "the vehicle detailing and restoration",  until our operation starts back up again in five months(April1st). As I mentioned yesterday. I'm so excited about, finally now! Being Search-able and Findable, and "being apart of this community". Too add, mostly learn, along with my schooling for certification's, in the Green Energies Industry.

We all will be doing our part, like I said "as a team," "Turning what might look like." A mountain, as far as "Turning this Countries Energy Infrastructure" use of fossil fuels. To a Renewable Energy Infrastructure". Again we need to work and grow side by side, as a team ("if you will"), One day at a Time.  Regards Your Friend, Peter

I Hope you read, My SatisFaction Loud And Clear, Through the 'Propper Forum' This time.

'Issues Arisen Relating too, My Bing Verified Local Business'

Hello Chris

I have a few things I do not understand, you may be able to help me with? The First Question: The active listing you found for me, works fine if I copy and paste it (http://www.bing.com/local/Details.aspx?lid=YN759x225497588&q=innovations%20in%20bethlehem%2c%20pa&qt=yp&tid=6bc358f45e994111babf5f9eb1ee1d51&FORM=LLSV) it will take anyone straight to my "Verified Local Business Site" . Again I'm very Grateful for you finding that for me, being able to have my site searchable has been a 'mega moral booster'(I hope you received my original Thank You response?)

My other Question: I'm hoping you might know, of a way to get the same result with a shorter search term. Like the name of my Business, which again is  "Just-In-Time-Innovations.unlimited Bethlehem PA."  However if I or customers enters Just-In-Time-Innovations.unlimited Bethlehem PA. Into the search engine. It does not take them to my Local Site?

I've looked into this myself, noticing that the first part of our name,'Just-in-Time'(named that,After my son's name, 'Justin') spelled like that(above) opens a huge array of other similar, names of business's beginning with the same 'Just In Time',when searched I read is known as J.I.T. a high volume of beginning names of all sorts of technology companies. Which leads me to ask, if it is possible to use a shorter 'search term' closer to my Company name, still bringing up my now functioning Bing's Verified Local Business Centers, "site"?

I Like Justin Innovations.unlimited Bethlehem PA.? Which would work for me,(hoping)  With out having to start all over 'with a new Listing', as I just updated my sites details!

Chris again "My Sincere Thanks" for all you do. Respectfully, PeterJames Frank

Hi Peter,

A local search on Bing Maps displays your listing #1. HERE

You are right that your site does not rank in the regular Bing results. This is a great question on optimizing your site that you could get some great advice on in the Webmaster forums in the Bing community. Please try posting there for suggestions:
