How to log in to AdCenter Desktop tool with Hotmail email addy?

Hello all. What is the workaround?  Can't change my email login to a username and there is no option for signing in to the desktop app with my hotmail...

    Hi Fergus - Log in to your adCenter account, go to 'Accounts & Billing' go to 'Users' select 'Create User' and fill in the required details (ensuring your new username is under 16 characters) and save.

    You now have two usernames for your adCenter account, one of which will be fit in the username field when logging in to the desktop editor. this is the best workaround I have come across
