Hi there,

As part of our planning, the adCenter team would like to know your thoughts on which credit cards adCenter accepts. We currently support Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Are there other credit card types you'd like to see accepted? Please let us know in this thread.

Thanks!
Carolyn

This may be a more long term decision to make, but supporting Paypal might be helpful to many business owners because it supports the "pre-pay" model. Business owners might want to have a paypal account which they maintain and want all of certain types of expenses funded through. Also, when the product expands globally, the availability of Paypal as a payment option might become even more attractive because credit cards are not widely used everywhere, particularly countries whose currency is not freely convertible to US $.

I was very disapointed when i went through all the sign up process only to find out you have such limited payment methods, bank transfer or Direct Debit if anything is a neccesety as everyone should have these and be able to use your services.

As for credit cards what about the SOLO / Maestro cards, I will happily try again if these methods are accepted, in the meantime i'm just stuck with google ads :( PLEEEASE update your payment methods.

You need to support direct debit and PayPal, never mind other card types.

I currently have a problem, that probably most of your customers have every year or two. My current card is about to expire. The replacement card, which I have, is not valid until the start of the following month. I can not put my new card in, because it is not valid, but you still try to validate it, so you refuse to accept it.

The result is that I have to add my new card, first thing on the day it is valid, and hope that I get it in before you make a charge.

You should allow pre-registration of cards, and validate them when they become valid, not when they are registered.

Really though, I want to pay by direct debit, just like I do for other advertising. A subscription to PayPal would also work.

Already it is a pain having to deal with adCenter, and it is hardly generating much in the way of sales, so making it hard to pay is just going to be the nail in the coffin for some of your customers.
