Adcenter Forum and IE9

This question has suggested answer(s)

I recently upgraded to IE9 and have been unable to post to the Adcenter forum. It works fine with another browser. When you hit post everything you enter disappears never to be seen again.

  • Hi new2adcenter,

I apologize you are having trouble posting to the forum.  Could you tell me which version of IE9 you are using?

    Thanks,

    Ricky :)

    Thanks

  • same issue here, same version

  • I was kind of impressed with IE9 until my gadgets started leaking memory and keep eating up 6 gigs daily. Uninstalled it and back on IE8 for now.

  • Hi all,

I aplogize you are experiencing this issue still. If you are using a pre-released version please download the final IE 9 here

Give it another try and let me know if you experience the same issue.

    Thank you,

    Ricky

  • Workaround is to click 'compatibility mode' (symbol next to the address link).

Also this should be fixed also in final release of IE9. But if you still can't post use the 'compatibility mode'.

  • This was not fixed in the final version but thanks for the workaround.

  • I noticed this as well and contacted the IE9 team to look into this. For some reason on some machines it does seem to work without compatibility mode. Not sure difference (in my case both 64bit so that can't be it).

The compatibility mode is remembered so that should be a usable workaround for now.
