I am having issues with certain urls and I mean in a big way...I've tried to block this stuff as much as I can with negative keywords as well as negative URL's but still nothing.
I just watched the same IP hit both my webpages listed under the same keywords, with the same negative url's and negative keywords which should have blocked it....I would not be concerned or frustrated but it is REALLY excessive and it seems as though syndicates or someone else have figured a way around what ever security rules have been set. I have got a lot of strange re-directs too. Its been destroying my numbers.
Anyway I called support yesterday and I am sure they are on it, but in the meantime as I some what watch money burn here......is there a way I can block specific URL's within my Cpanel of my hosting account? Or would I have to call them and get them to do this?
Thanks in Advance
Hello Moneysflow,
If you have contacted support, please provide the reference number so i could monitor your case and get some more details.
I would suggest calling your hosting company as well to see if they are able to do anything to block certain url or IP Address. However, Ad Center currently does not have this function to block ip addresses.
Thank you,
Paul K

Thanks for your reply. I have just requested an update from the Team that is working on your case. I will follow up with you as soon as i hear anything.
Thank you.
Are you running search or content ads? Website exclusions only affect content.
Thanks guys,
I am running my ads in the search network and syndicate partners and I tried a few things today..
When I turned off the syndicate partners all of the local.com hits stopped...As soon as I turned it back on I started getting hit by local.com again
I would leave syndicate partners off but my impressions drop when I do, and secondly I do get some conversions from a few of the syndicates, but admit it seems a lot of it is garbage. When I turn on syndicates I also get really strange redirects. I will click on the referral string for the visitor to my site and the link (not being anything remotely close to my site) instantly redirected me to my site...no search page, nothing....these seem very strange to me.
I signed up for the course being held tomorrow, so that should help, but the function of the tool, if not for operation with the search network could use a little more clarification.
I am monitoring your issue and our Traffic Team is investigate why this is occuring. I will touch base with you as soon as i get some more answers.
Thx Paul...will let you know if I come up with anything too...The hosting block I have ruled out...Though it would certainly stop the hits from reaching me...I have a feeling I would still end up paying for them as the user still clicked on the advertisement.
anyway
appreciate the help
I copied one of the re-directs and here it is...

that re-directs instantly to my site.....and I don't like that I can't trace it....any thoughts?
I have also noticed that this URL is also listed as #5 on my analytics

Hello Moneysflows,
Thank you for all the data that you are giving us. I am updating the SRX ID as you are providing it. We are working on it. As soon as i have some new information i will let you know.
No problem Paul....If there is anything I can do to help just let me know.
Last night was a massive improvement....my impressions dropped hard, down to 150 an hour, but I didn't wake up to 45 clicks like I had been, and sometimes I don't sleep more than 5 hours. I had 8 last night, so seems more inline with how slow the days typically have been.
Anyway, I really hate being the one throwing all this at you guys, I'm sure you've got enough work, but I do appreciate it. You guys really go above and beyond, and for the size of my account to date it's something I honestly wouldn't have expected.
The MS team has got skillz!
Thanks guys and gals
I tried to contact you yesterday and also i believe the customer support rep left you a message.
Today i will be trying to get a hold the Team that is investigating your account. Hopefully i will have some additional information for you.
Thank you so much for all the information that you have provided.
Hmmmm i didn't get any calls, I must have my cell number in my details. After getting out of outside sales I have enjoyed not keeping it glued to my ear...I'll change my details to my home number and check my messages
Thanks again Paul.
