NYEIf you’re anything like me, you’re spending part of this week thinking about your resolutions for 2012.  The usual suspects are on my list of personal goals - lose weight, exercise more, spend more time with my family - but given how stressors in my professional life tend to create a ripple effect in my personal life, it occurred to me that it might make more sense for me to focus my energy on being more efficient at work.  If I can nail that single resolution, it could mean those other goals will have a better chance at seeing the light of day.

Speaking of being more efficient at work, while sorting through the emails that have piled up in my inbox while I was on vacation last week, I ran across an announcement about a spiffy new Free Campaign Upload option that can help you save time when moving your existing Google campaigns over to Bing and Yahoo! Search.  Considering there are 113 million Internet searchers worldwide who aren’t using Google1, if you’re only running ads there, you’re missing out on a huge opportunity to reach as many potential customers as possible.

Regularly importing your best-performing Google campaigns into adCenter is now simpler than ever with not one, but two new ways to get the job done quickly and easily:

  1. Download adCenter Desktop for free so you can easily move those campaigns to adCenter using the Import CampaignsBeta feature, which allows you to manage large amounts of data offline and streamline your campaign management tasks.
  2. If you’re not using the Desktop, or would just like some help, simply submit existing campaigns through the Free Campaign Upload page, and we’ll load them into adCenter and activate your ads for you.

We hope these new options will put a smile on your face and some time back in your schedule.

Now... where’d I put that gym membership card?

1. comScore Core Search, October 2011.
