Grow your business by advertising on bing, MSN, Xbox, and more!
Following up on our recent announcements about the release of our new adCenter user interface, Desktop release and Import Campaign Beta feature, we’re excited to share yet another important update with you: the negative keyword functionality has been upgraded within the adCenter UI, Desktop and API. These changes will help simplify account management, improve performance and align with the way other search advertising platforms handle negative keywords.
Per your feedback, Exact Match negative keywords help improve blocking precision, so please make sure you upgrade to version 8.1.111 when you receive the upgrade prompt in the tool to take advantage of this new feature.
The negative keyword feature is now available only at the ad group and campaign levels; keyword level negative keywords are no longer supported. In order to make this change a seamless experience for Desktop users, you can migrate your keyword level negative keywords to ad group or campaign level using the Negative Keyword Migration Wizard or in adCenter web UI copy and paste your list of keyword-level negative keywords into an Excel or .CSV file, then import the list at either the ad group or campaign level. .
