Release Announcement: Introducing the Updated Microsoft adCenter User Interface

  • Comments 2

This year, much of our focus has been on delivering an improved Microsoft adCenter experience at every touch point as you are creating and monitoring your PPC campaigns. Last week we gave you a sneak peek at what was coming and also announced an improved desktop.  Today we’re announcing the release of an enhanced adCenter web experience to all advertisers.

This upgrade is designed to help you simplify your campaign management and provide you with easier access to information that will help you improve campaign performance.

Here’s a summary of what’s been improved and what new features have been added:

Simplified Campaign Set Up

UI1

  • More user friendly Campaign Setup for creating campaigns and ad groups
  • A sleek new single page view with real-time previews and keyword suggestion enabling quicker campaign deployment

Improvements to Navigation & Discovery

UI2

  • Manage across your entire account, by viewing and editing keywords & ads across multiple campaigns and ad-groups at once
  • Leverage highly customizable filters that can be created and managed easily, while getting the data and analysis they need

Improvements to Campaign Data

  • New multi-metric trend charts appear on the Home and Campaign tabs enabling you to compare up to 5 different performance metrics simultaneously within a single interface. Hover over any of the charts to zero in on the details for the selected time across all 5 charts
  • Enhanced delivery status notification features for each entity provides more robust detail in order to make needed improvements to keywords
  • Review keyword impressions and positional bid estimates right in the keywords grid using the estimation feature

Improvements to Editing

UI5

  • Inline editing for campaign, ad groups, and keyword grids makes it more efficient to accomplish the task of changing key details – with added fields for a more complete experience
  • In-line bid editing allows you to easily accept adCenter’s bid suggestions, or submit your own custom bid adjustments
  • Review keyword traffic, first page, mainline, and best position estimations in the keywords grid, and implement in a single click
  • With keywords in-line, searching and updating keywords has been made simple and easy
  • Easily make large bulk changes to your campaigns

Improvements to Opportunities Tab

UI6

  • The Opportunities tab offers Bid Suggestions for Exact and Broad Match to help improve impression and click volume by unlocking the potential of underperforming keywords across your account.
  • Get fast notice of needed improvements with the enhanced status notification feature for each entity in your account

We hope these features and upgrades will help you manage and grow your adCenter business with greater flexibility and control over your campaigns. As always, reach out to us with your continuous feedback.

  • LOVE the new UI. It's a huge step forward - congrats to the adCenter team.

  • This new interface is horrible. Several convenient functions (ie - copy ad text from another ad) are no longer available. I can't believe anyone thought this was an improvement. You've made it more cumbersome to add new ad groups. Simply horrible.
