Introducing adCenter’s Import Campaigns feature: Bringing Added Choice and Flexibility to A Desktop Near You

Earlier today, we launched an important feature in our journey to make paid search advertising easier, more open and more effective for advertisers. It’s the Import Campaigns beta and can be found in the 8.1 version of our adCenter desktop, which is now available to adCenter customers.

The Import Campaign beta isn’t the first step in our journey, nor will it be our last. The goal of this feature is to give advertisers just a bit more choice and flexibility in how they use their own data to execute and manage their campaigns.

How will the Import Campaigns feature do this?

The simple answer is that it will enable advertisers to more easily migrate (or port) their own search campaign data from Google adWords directly into adCenter, so they are able to keep their campaigns synchronized with less effort.

We don’t expect this feature to be the solution to relieve every hurdle advertisers face when running campaigns on multiple platforms with different search engines. But this is an important step forward and during the beta we will be listening to customers, compiling input, and making improvements and adjustments every step of the way.

Our goal with this feature is promote greater freedom of choice, and help ease customers’ pain points. We encourage you to try the product and give us your feedback.

  • Nice feature added Brian! t will allow many advertisers to directly import their Adwords campaigns without much hurdles into Bing adCenter account. Kudos Microsoft :)
