adCenter Desktop: The April 2011 Upgrade is Now Ready for Download

  • Comments 1

If you’re not already using the adCenter Desktop, now is a great time to give it a test drive.  Not only did Glenn Gabe (of Search Engine Journal fame) send over a couple of guest posts offering helpful tutorials on it—the first of which went up today—the April 2011 Update is now ready for download!

This new update will let you work smarter, faster, and the way you want. New features and functionality include a new dashboard for instant account insights, easier exporting, and the ability to create custom views and column settings.

Here’s a quick overview:

Desktop Dashboard. By expanding the new Dashboard pane, you will find immediate answers to an account’s key trending questions, plus gain quick access to campaign patterns and insights that help you identify the biggest impacts and opportunities.

Export Dialog. Easily engage with the new Export Dialog from wherever you’re working in adCenter Desktop. Rather than having to export an entire account, you now have the flexibility to export only selected items — with or without including targeting information and negative keywords — significantly reducing file size, and improving transfer times.

Custom Views and Column Settings. You can now name and save your favorite filters and they will be available for later access. In addition, any column adjustments made, such as like selection, order, size and sorts, will be retained both from session-to-session, and while working across accounts.

Proxy Server Support. If you’re working behind your company’s firewall, adCenter Desktop will now detect proxy settings and allow you to enter your corporate credentials so you can continue working without interruption.

Informative Upgrade Prompting. Whenever we update adCenter Desktop, informative upgrade prompting will provide you with key release details, including: What’s New, release benefits, and other important information.

For more in-depth details on each of the above, take a look at the Feature Guide.  Once you’ve had a chance to check out the new stuff, be sure to come back and let us know what you think the comments below.

Thanks!

  • I installed the update last week and noticed there is now a CPA column, great news there. Unfortunately the calculation is wrong and the CPA's displayed are incorrect. In addition the calculated CPC's are also incorrect.

Are you guys working on fixing this ASAP?
