Grow your business by advertising on bing, MSN, Xbox, and more!
Exciting news for all those adCenter customers who are engaging in our Content Ads offering in the U.S.: Microsoft is now the exclusive provider of Content Ads on NBC Universal sites! Our ads will appear across multiple NBCU sites, including: NBC, Bravo, Oxygen, USA Network and Access Hollywood and syfy.com. NBC Universal's vast audience reaches 17 million monthly unique users and will add about 400 million more monthly impressions to our current Content network.*
This is a great opportunity to reach out to target key demographic segments right as we head into the holiday season. A quick snapshot of audience stats on core sites:
Yes, our technology will match your relevant ads to the right sites, but while we're in early stages of the partnership, we recommend including these keywords to your Content campaigns to drive volume to your ads from the NBC sites:
Refine ROI: With new access to such a large audience, we advise advertisers to closely monitor their conversion rates from the NBC sites and to add demo- and geo-targeting to enhance your ROI. Be sure to also review your publisher placement reports and use our site exclusion feature, if necessary.
What you need to know: NBC Universal sites are currently not currently enabled for site targeting or behavioral targeting. And this opportunity is only open to U.S. adCenter advertisers.
Just a little background on myself: I've been working in the content ads (or contextual sponsored links) business since 2000 when I was back at About.com. Once Google bought out our search advertising business, I moved over to Kanoodle (now Pulse360) where I helped the sales team position Content Ads to search and display media buyers. I've been working in product management with Microsoft adCenter since June 2006, and have recently transitioned to solely focusing on ensuring our Content Ads offering delivers solid ROI for our advertisers. So if you have questions or concerns about this product, please feel free to ping me here in the comments or email me through my community profile.

awesome! this could really help me!
Sounds great! keep it up!
I joind add words, now how do I get my web on msn?
To get your text ads on the MSN network, you need to create a Content Ads campaign through Microsoft adCenter (help.live.com/help.aspx). Make sure you are choosing keywords that are relevant to your ad and to your audience. In order to ensure you get traffic to your campaign, I recommend putting in a bid on the higher side so you can test its effectiveness for about 2 weeks, and then adjust your bid to optimize for ROI.
If you’re looking to include your ads on Bing, then also create a Search campaign.
When going through sign up, make sure you separate your Content Ads and Search campaigns. This will allow you more flexibility and control over the performance of both campaigns.
