Is Windows 8 a real limitation

Another question from France. I m developer of a desktop application since several year. This application use last MS techno (WPF, EF4, Paralleltask, CodeFirst...). I would like add ads to this app to let it free.

Can i use the W8 ads framework ? even if my app is not and will be not WinRT ?

I'm developing the last released of my application under Win8 and VS11 and everything is working fine under W8,W7,Vista, XP etc...
