Justin, How do I start a conversation with you? Company - Your Diver Warehouse. FTP page shows inactive.
Hello willirl,
A red message is displayed in your Bing Shopping account which means that your account hasn’t been completely configured yet. Please go to your account and follow the directions on the "Store Settings" tab (located within Tools -> Bing Shopping Account Management).
Primarily, you have not created an FTP user name or password yet. These need to be created before we can activate the FTP account.

Hello Mr. Schmauser,
I tried starting a conversation with you but I keep getting a 500 error. I sent you an email instead. I am not sure if you received it. It is related to an account which is over 10 days old and still ftp inactive.
Thank you
Hello,
The 500 error that people are receiving when trying to start conversation messages is currently being worked on and will hopefully be fixed by our developers soon.
As for your account, I unfortunately do not receive any e-mails that are sent to me. Instead, please reply to this message with your company name (as it is in your adCenter account) and I will investigate your account.
It is **. Would you be able to delete my company name once you have the info?
Thank you so very much. I received an email stating that inclusion in the program couldn't be granted with no other information. Would you be able to help me with this?
I have answered this question in the new thread you created.
I tried to upload my datafeed via FTP (FileZilla) but I am getting error
that says "error 503 - User can not log in". I tried the same thing with CoreFTP and get the same eror, plus additional error that says "No such host is known"
I check my account and saw FTP Account Status: Inactive.
How do I resolve this problem?
Hi. Our company name is HitchSource.com. We signed up for the merchant feed on 18th of April. We are still getting error 530 when trying to FTP in. We also have not received any email communication regarding the status of our account. We would appreciate any help you can give us. Thanks!
Hello mazif and HitchSource.com,
mazif:
Please read the first post of this thread and supply the information listed under "What to include in your post". I can only help you once I have this information.
HitchSource.com:
I have activated your FTP account and it should be able to accept a feed within an hour (currently 11:23AM PST).
Mr. Schmauser,
We (Ace Mart Restaurant Supply) just signed up for the bing shopping through our account on April 15. and our FTP account is still listed as Inactive.
Thanks,
Bonny
Hello Bonny,
I have activated your FTP account and it should be able to accept a feed file within an hour (currently 2:24PM PST).
I just signed up for a new account yesterday (5/2/2011), but the FTP account shows inactive and I have received no correspondence or replies to support emails. As with the others I am unable to login to the FTP server to begin uploading my feed.
Company Name: Discount FiltersSigned Up: 5/2/2011Reason: Inactive FTP Account
I apologize if I haven't waited long enough - I was doing research, found this thread and thought I would be proactive rather than risk forgetting after another 8-9 days.
Thanks
Hello Tyler,
It can take up to 10 days to activate your FTP account. Please make a reply to this thread if your FTP account is still not active on May 12th.
Hi Justin,
Thanks for getting the FTP enabled for us. I uploaded our feed yesterday and saw that it was accepted into your system (although there were no indications as to whether it was imported or if there were any errors). I went back to check on it today to see if there is any update to the status and now I'm getting the following error:
Session expired:
Your Bing Shopping account management session has expired. To resolve this, access your account via the Tools tab or sign in to adCenter.
To get to that error, I log into our adcenter account, click on the tools menu and then click on the merchant link (i.e. exactly what the error seems to be telling us to do.). I've tried logging in and out multiple times and it doesn't have any effect. I'm using Firefox 4 and cleared my cookies to make sure there wasn't something odd going on. I tried Chrome and Safari, but apparently adcenter only lets us use browsers made by non-Microsoft competitors. Is the Bing merchant administration platform down?
Thanks again for your help. I'm looking forward to getting this feed running.
