Web Analytics & The adCenter Add-in for Excel 2007

posted Wed, Mar 12 2008

With the recent upgrade to adCenter Analytics, it makes sense for us to help you get the best out of the product by providing you with some online tutorials and webinars. Well in the next couple of months we’ll be doing just that, but I wanted to point out some other media we’ve designed for another product that compliments adCenter Analytics exquisitely.

The adCenter Add-in for Excel 2007 is the perfect tool to help you take action on the key learnings adCenter Analytics provides you about your site.

When it comes to keyword research, the adCenter Add-in can make suggestions and provide volume and forecast data to help you capitalise on search terms that are successfully converting on your site. It can also give you ideas for similar keywords if you’re finding some of your site’s pages are not quite hitting the right note with your visitors, not forgetting demographic and geographic intelligence too. All in the very powerful format of Excel 2007.

So take a look at the adCenter Add-in Demos my colleague Jason Yormark designed, and use them to help take action on your analytics reports.

there is no better way of advertising your company than having a

website. On a cost per sales basis, more businesses are discovering

that they can use the Internet as an advertising medium for less than

5% of the traditional costs. In a small business Internet survey, 56%

of small businesses on-line today regard the Internet as "essential"

to the success of their business. 60% of those who accept orders on

their web sites report sales gains due to their on-line presence

amounting to about 23% of total sales.

As everyone knows by now, video is very exciting. I think in the next few years people will discover that video is appropriate for certain areas of the consumer market, right now it seems like everyone wants to use video for everything. I think the small business arena will benefit the most from video which is pretty much the thesis behind www.adwido.com
