Not long ago we posted about some upcoming changes to the Microsoft adCenter Editorial Guidelines as part of the preparation for the Yahoo! and Microsoft Search Alliance implementation.
In an effort to keep up with the promise of transparency made in that post, we wanted let you know that Yahoo! will be sending an email to their advertisers notifying them that they will soon be able to take the first step in transitioning their Yahoo! PPC campaigns over to adCenter.
If you do not have any PPC campaigns running on Yahoo!, there is no action for you to take with this post. If you do have campaigns running on Yahoo!, this is simply a heads up to keep an eye out for that email so you’ll have the information necessary to prepare for the transition period. For additional information, you can view a synopsis of the email over on the Yahoo! blog.
We hope this adds clarity to what’s coming up on the horizon in terms of the Search Alliance changes. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment.
