Help Us Test Our New Image Ads Pilot in the U.S.

We’re excited to announce a pilot for our new Image Ads offering in the U.S. – and we’re looking for small to mid-sized businesses to test it out with us! Image Ads are display ads that can be purchased on a CPC or a CPM-basis. These ads currently run on our Content Ads network, including top MSN sites. Image Ads are a great way to extend your reach on our network and to continue refining your ROI.

To participate, you must already have your own IAB Standard creative and tags. So let us know you’re interested:

1. If you manage your account on your own, then call the 1-800-518-5689 support line and ask to be enrolled into Performance Improvement program and the Image Ads Pilot

2. If you are in a Managed Service program, you should ask your Account rep about the Image Ads pilot

I called the 1-800 number and the representatives had no idea what I was talking about when I asked to be enrolled in the Performance Improvement Program/Image Ads Pilot. They insist that they only do text ads and told me to fill out the form on this page:

Thank you for your interest, and I apologize for the confusion you experienced reaching out to our agents regarding participation in Image Ads. Image Ads is currently in pilot and does require a nomination process, including a form to be filled out in order to be routed to the correct support. It seems that the agent was confused with the process of this particular pilot, which resulted in the referral to this form. Customer service is important to us, and we will follow up with our teams to ensure that this does not happen again.

Same exact thing happened to me and I would like to be added to the program. After being on hold on and off for several minutes while the agent was trying to figure out what this program was, I had to hang up. They sent me this email:

"I received a call from Al this afternoon in regards to a blog which recommended calling us for inscription into the image ad program. The blog was not an official statement and I can only refer you to advertising.microsoft.com/advertise-on-msn where you can request to be included in the program.

Please feel free to utilize our contact information below if you would

like to discuss anything regarding your Microsoft adCenter Account today

I also got the answer: adCenter Teams DO NOT deal with Image Ads Pilot, they only deal with Text ads

Also www.advertising.microsoft.com/advertise-on-msn refer people to cash back and Display advertising in which I do not think is the Pilot.

Yes, with our image ads pilot, we do support image ads on our content network in addition to text ads.

I just called that 800 number and had a good conversation with a woman by the name of Laurie. She was extremely courteous, and took down my contact info and said that someone would get back to me. I am most anxious to participate in this program since I would lobve to spend more money with you and less with the big arrogant G.
