posted Thu, Aug 27 2009

Lately our adCenter bloggers have been sharing a lot of helpful info about Microsoft Advertising Intelligence, a keyword research tool that provides keyword expansion, research, pricing info and more, to help you plan your adCenter campaigns. Here are a few of our recent posts on the topic, and keep an eye out for more coming up.

This series from Katrina Morris reviews specific Advertising Intelligence tools in-depth:

-- Microsoft Advertising Intelligence - Keyword and Negative Keyword Expansion

-- Microsoft Advertising Intelligence - Using the Traffic and Demographic Tools for Market Trends

-- Microsoft Advertising Intelligence - Using the Pricing Tool for Bid Proposals and Budget Management

-- Microsoft Advertising Intelligence - From Keyword Expansions to Bid Proposals to Market Trends

Jeremy, Sean and Libby include practical examples of how and when to use Advertising Intelligence:

-- Back to School - Part I: Campaign Planning and Keyword Research by Jeremy Lamothe

-- Microsoft Content Ads: 5 New Best Practices by Sean O’Connor

-- Making, Not Breaking the Bank: PPC Keyword Research Tips During the Downturn by Libby Thomas

Don’t forget to watch the six tutorial videos as well.

I also wanted to share this reminder with you:

Reminder: Upgrade to Microsoft Advertising Intelligence by Sept. 1, 2009

If you are using adCenter add-in for ExcelBeta, you will need to upgrade to Microsoft Advertising Intelligence by September 1, 2009. Following this date the Beta version will cease to function.

Before installing the new version, you will need to uninstall the Beta version. See the Advertising Intelligence Installation Guide for detailed instructions to help you check for and uninstall the Beta version, and install Microsoft Advertising Intelligence.
