Microsoft Advertising: Insights Podcast – Choosing The Right PPC Strategy & Agency Selection With Mona Elesseily

posted Mon, Apr 13 2009

Welcome to Microsoft Advertising: Insights, the official podcast of Microsoft Advertising.

Insights covers all things digital advertising, primarily focusing on search out of the gate.  We'll discuss the state of the industry, what's happening behind the scenes with Microsoft Advertising and adCenter, and deliver useful information that can help you with your search campaigns.

This is our 2nd in a series of podcasts we recorded while at the 2009 Search Engine Strategies conference in New York.  I had the opportunity to sit down with Mona Elesseily from Page Zero Media to discuss her take on client relations, paid search strategy, and what to look for when hiring an agency.  Mona is also a frequent contribtor at Search Engine Land.

Interested... sounds like Microsoft is moving the right direction in regards to winning better marketing share as a search engine. In addition, it can be a good starting guide for even a newbie internet marketing interesting in promoting products or services on Bing.com

I am excited about the many recent upgrades to the search results provided by Microsoft and it is also reflective in the conversion rates and click through results we are seeing for our clients. One area that we hope Microsoft further develops is some toolbar applications. Google is clearly leading this space and with all the resources Microsoft has available it would only be natural for a more advanced set of tools to be brought to market, ones in particular that I am interested in would be similar to the Google sidewiki and page rank tools.
